Lead Instructor - help students develop a love for STEM through Robotics

Overview

This is an onsite volunteering position for our workshops in the San Francisco south bay area. The lead instructor is responsible for leading a group of 2-4 students in building robotics kits. The upper level workshops will require teaching Scratch programming language. The lead instructor should commit to at least one course which is a 6-week course with 1 hour session per week. 

Requirements

  • Current high school students are welcome to apply

  • Time commitment is 2-4 hours per week 

  • Commute to onsite workshops in the San Jose area 

  • Good communication and leadership skills

  • Prior teaching, mentoring or leadership position in an activity or club preferred
